Rental Conditions

The short version

Bring your original licence and passport. Be the age stated on the car page. Leave a deposit. Bring the car back with a full tank, in one piece, on time. That is essentially all of it.

Documents at handover

• Original driving licence, held for the minimum period shown on the vehicle page
• Original passport or Moroccan national identity card
• A card in the main driver name for the deposit pre-authorisation
• For luxury and premium categories, proof of address or a hotel booking

An International Driving Permit is not required for licences issued in the EU, the UK, the US, Canada or Australia. Bring one if your licence is not written in Latin script.

The handover itself

It takes about fifteen minutes. We walk around the car together and photograph every existing mark. You get a copy of those photographs. We show you the controls, the spare wheel and the documents in the glovebox, and we give you the assistance number.

On premium vehicles and on the electric cars the briefing is longer, because the controls are genuinely unfamiliar. Do not skip it.

Returning the car

Same process in reverse. We inspect the car with you present, compare against the handover photographs, and release the deposit. If you are returning outside opening hours in Casablanca there is a key drop box; the inspection then happens the next morning and we send you the photographs.

Things that will cost you money

• Returning with less fuel than you left with — pump price plus 150 MAD
• Smoking in the vehicle — 800 MAD cleaning charge
• Returning the car excessively dirty inside — from 300 MAD
• Lost key — from 1,500 MAD depending on the vehicle
• Traffic fines incurred during your rental — the fine plus 200 MAD administration

• A layer of Saharan dust on the paintwork
